| Discovery Health Team Building – Kyalami Conference and Function Centre |

The hosting of Discovery Health’s team building event was on 12th September 2007 with a very early start at 16 Fredman drive, Sandton with Tea’s, coffees and a light snack. All staff were then transported to the venue via coaches.
This event was held at Kyalami Conference and Function Centre just a short distance from Kyalami race track with a beautiful river setting.
The team split was done 3 weeks prior to this day of 10 teams each having 7 participants. They were instructed to produce a “War Cry” that best suits their team name, personality and outfit, to be presented on arrival at the venue.
Once teams arrived at the venue, their presentations were given and away they went. We decided to choose the Inflatable Sports and events for them to take part in. This is a giant, portable and inflatable obstacle course that has something for everyone to get involved in and provides great entertainment for the spectators and teams alike. Teams have to make their way through this course which comprises of 12 different stages as they compete against the clock.
After an exhausting 2 hour event the teams relaxed by the pool and enjoyed their buffet lunch of lasagne, salads and desert provided by the venue.
Once everyone had regained their energy an awards ceremony took place and with great excitement the fastest and most spirited teams were each awarded their gifts. The day then came to an end and teams were then coached back to their office.
A great day out for all involved.
