Oasys Audio Visual, a member of the Oasys Innovations group of companies, provided three professional digital video cameras, which were linked to three laptops and DVD players. This was prepared to create a smooth transition to the screens that were installed above the audience. A stage was installed to create the “look and feel” of a theatre inside the Sandton Convention Centre.
The team also installed six 50” LCD screens and a video screen measuring 3X4 meters, which were all professionally interlinked for the audience to have a comfortable remote view of the stage. A lighting structure was installed. This created a natural ambience, which was further enhanced with moving lights and associated creative lighting.
Technicians worked dedicated on this project for three days. The sound system was elevated next to the screen, which also kept the audio-visual equipment off the floor. This created a neat effect and, as a consequence, resulted in the best quality sound.
Eight headset microphones were used for the chefs who could communicate simultaneously, as well as roaming microphones for the audience to participate in the event proceedings. |
